i am using a kinda router that direct the wifi to the xbox. would it work if i just used an official xbox live wireless thingy. sorry but i can't think of the name and am getting really pissed at not being able to use xboxlive.
wireless adapter is what i am thinking of. i am using a computer adapter but i connects just cannot find an IP address so is that the reason it isn't working.
If you're using any ol' cheap USB adapter, it won't work. Only the offical M$ adapter works that way. You could get somethling like this (http://games.dlink.com/products/?pid=383), but it's close to the same price as the other device. If you need it cheaply, eBay is really the only option.
