Since you can put any CD into your 360 and rip it into your hard drive, is there a way to plug in an iPod into your 360 and rip songs onto your Xbox?

Thankss.

I plugged my iPod in and I didn't realised I had some non-iPod-compatible songs on it that I couldn't use. There were about 9 of 'em that I couldn't see or hear on my iPod. However, these 9 songs were able to be ripped to my xbox. So I guess 'some' ipod songs can be ripped.

hmm... must have been some wma or mp3 files on the removable disk identity of your ipod... i suppose it would make sense that, as a usb removable disk, the ipod could transfer songs to the xbox. however, there would be no possible way to transfer songs playable on your ipod to the 360. (so, enable disk mode and copy/paste files to the "drive" that is your ipod)

TC, the offical rule is if u have songs on ur IPOD from a cd, limeiwre, or any other source other than itunes, they will play off ur ipod when it is plugged into ur 360. but all songs uve bought off itunes will not work. im not sure if u can rip any of them on ur 360 though

^ yes apparently the touch does not work with 360, other people have this issue as well. oh yeah and I owuldn't burn music to the 360, rather just play it off the ipod, that way it doesn't take up any memory on the HD.
