I would like to download some games from the XBL arcade, as well as install some games to the HDD (along with other saved data).
Was just wondering if 4GB is enough. The price difference between the 4GB Xbox and the 250GB Xbox is huge.

If you're looking to download games, then no. 4gb will not do it for you.
However, I'd buy the 4gb console, and then purchase the 320gb harddrive. Gives you 70gb extra storage, comes with a free download of Lego Star Wars III, and is only $30 extra. Definitely worth the money.
I really regret buying the 4gb!
It's not enough, I have to delete games every now and then if I want to play other games and it really sucks. I think I'm buying an external hard drive. Plus I can't play the fallout dlc because you need a harddrive to install it...
This!! I've so much space right now it's crazy. I download pretty much every demo available plus have all my games installed and I still have TONS of room. It's definitely a well worth investment. If you're looking to download games, then no. 4gb will not do it for you.

4gb will be enough only for gamesave. If you plan on going online, downloading game demo's, updates, map packs, dlc, xbla titles etc then you'll want the larger hdd.
For everything that you are trying to do, no, you need a harddrive and I advise against getting a 360 without one.I would like to download some games from the XBL arcade, as well as install some games to the HDD (along with other saved data).

Okay, thanks for all the responses. I've decided I'm getting the 250GB version soon.
Also, I came across this video:

Why does the Xbox 360 seem to have a sloppy resolution output? According to the video, the PS3 ouputs what it's supposed to, whereas the 360 has it's own sloppy way of outputting resolution.
Not sure if the video is accurate or not, I just thought it was interesting.
And no, this will not start a "360 vs. PS3" discussion! I am just asking a question on the 360 side of things...
There's hdmi, component, and composite cables. Depending on what cable you use and what tv you have, will factor in on your resolution quality..Okay, thanks for all the responses. I've decided I'm getting the 250GB version soon.
