Hell no.
Edit- Wait, is the game Turn Based combat or real time? If its real time, then Ill buy it but if its turn based then HELL NO.
it's turn based
a little different than you think
as in there's more to it than choose an action in a strategic battle setting and then wait out the turn
but it's turn based nonetheless

besides Tales of Vesperia/Legendia, Star Ocean and Infinite Undiscovery, how many real REAL-TIME RPGs do you see? i'm confused on why you'd begin to think it was real-time
EDIT: oh wait, you're an Oblivion/Fallout 3 guy aren't you? well even the original Fallout games were turn-based i'm afraid

Yeah, Im more into Western RPGS like Oblivion and Mass Effect haha. And I didnt really care for Fallout 3 (Ending killed it for me), and I never played the original Fallout titles. But I did love Knights of The Old Republic 1 and 2. Its probably my favorite game on the Xbox 360 lol. It has several flaws but I think the story is amazing and the game play is just awesome IMO. I love using Throw on a group of enemies on one side of the room, and then using Singularity on the other side just to watch everything be swept into Dark Matter xP The bad thing about Mass Effect is the framerate and the texture popping. If the fixed the framerate problems and the texture popping it would be even better. Hell, they could even have Texture Fading like Gears 2 and Id be fine. I really like that effect in Gears 2 haha. Fix that and Bioware has got themselves a 9.5 game, and add some variation to the Uncharted Planets and theyve got themselves a 10/10 game xD If I dont get an announcement for Mass Effect 2 this year, I will be very... very upset.[QUOTE="johnmatthais"][QUOTE="Morning_Revival"]Yeah, Im more into Western RPGS like Oblivion and Mass Effect haha. I was so excited for that game, but then I saw how bad the reviews were. I won't get it though it pains me as I haven't played a good JRPG since Lost Odyssey came out last year. I'm holding out for FF13...bluem00se
Dont let reviews turn you off of this game, especially if you enjoyed Lost Odyssey (alot of the problems people had with Last Remnant they had with Lost Odyssey aswell, because they both use the unreal engine). All my friends who enjoy Lost Odyssey are loving Last Remnant since i told them about it. Definatly give it a rent atleast man, but i HIGHLY reccomend it if you liked LO.
