They never said there were gonna be new campaigns in this dlc, so how are you disappointed? Plus it's free so i'm not complaining, but the 2 other versus maps should have always been there, the survivor mode is pretty cool, and the melee update was just necessary.
Yup! plus it's free so I don't understand how can you be dissapointed with free stuff. They never said there were gonna be new campaigns in this dlc, so how are you disappointed? Wow if you want to play them then go into the snowblind map pack playlist. Guess what. You can play all the snowblind maps until your hearts content. If I paid for the maps like I did in Gears 2 I would be dissapointed. I have played on those maps not more than 5x bec. not many players have them.

I know i will take the littlest thing for freeit's a free dlc wow, and people are still complaining

Actually I find it fun the only thing I didn't like is the melee update but once again I can't complain its free DLC plus adding dead air and blood harvest to vs. mode is pretty good (even though they should have been there since launch)
and I swear I thought I heard that they are going to make two new maps(and one might be a mall) and have new weapons like a flamethrower...but once again I just said it was rumors also I hope they don't add new weapons cause I feel the weapons are very balanced
im not im happy with the update :Pit's a free dlc wow, and people are still complaining

People,I think it is safe to say that Valve will release more campaigns later on. This was just to sort of say "Thanks for buying the game, and sorry we didn't put the other two maps in the original product."
Well, I can't complain, becuase Death Toll is my fav. campaign :)
I swear to god parents need to raise their children with a little more respect these days. A great developer gives us a free update that includes a new mode, map and puts in the codes for the two other versuss maps THEY DIDNT HAVE TIME TO INCLUDE, and peoplecry and complain because they want more. More from something free, a gift you could say. Hell they could have just not bothered with MS considering the way they screwed with TF2 and just released it for their pc fan base. Who by the way is alot more greatful and loyal. SO instead of cryiing and giving Valve no reason to release anything in the future why dont you be a little appreciative. Cause remember, they dont get the money if MS charges on xboxlive because they dont get paid for the content they release on the pc. So MS is the one charging you and Valve can easily pass on giving them anything. Remember that

Spoiled kids! They should've charged these kids for the download so they'll think twice before getting it. Personally I don't have the game & don't plan on getting it. I have a backlog of games that still needs to be played.Paying $60 for a short ass game that can be beatin in 4hours
Multiplayer is still fun
But I was dissapointed when really what needed is more campaigns
I'm no complaining, just dissapointed
Hey you're the one who bought it. After my 1st bust impulse buy I never did it again. That's why I use Gamespot & IGN or Metacritic. It's not their fault that you felt the game was too short most current gen games are.Paying $60 for a short ass game that can be beatin in 4hours

It's called replay value and L4D has an unsurmountable amount of it. current gen games allow for people to go online, challenge others, team up with friends, etc. Past gen games haven't really done this right until now. Yet people still complain about shortness, even though the overall time that can be put into the game is actually far higher than it has been with past gen games.
BTW,I don't believe that past gen games are longer on average. I'm fairly certain that current gen games beat out past gen when it comes to average play time to beat the game once. However, that still isn't taking replay value into consideration which push current gen games even further ahead consider online. Anyways, I digress. I'm sure you will come up with some bogus information and sound just as entitled and rediculous as the original poster of this topic........

Get your facts straight son we're talking about the shortness of the campaign & not how xbox live extends the games life. I know that for a fact & I don't sound ridiculous when I say that newer games have shorter campaign. If you have played games from past gens they are harder & longer just look at RE5 & RE4 you can't even compare the length of the two games. I'm not complaining if a game is short just make it good!I like it so far, I'm just hoping for new campaign missions in the near future. Maybe new weapons?Zoso-8yeah me too bro

I'm not complaining if a game is short just make it good! That's hilarious that you are comparing RE5 with RE4, hahaha. Have you played RE1, RE2, RE3 or any of the other RE iterations before 4 and 5. They take a few hours to beat at the most. The actual first play through time of the original games was a few hours at the most. I think you're the one that needs to get your facts straight. But I guess when I'm talking with a prepubescent child, I shouldn't expect them to understand what past-gen means and what generations of systems you should include so you don't sound like an idiot using poor examples.
Secondly, by not including the replay value and multiplayer that games have, you are leaving out very important features that developers have created specifically for the game. Im not just talking about Xbox Live. Although Live adds to the game, you would still get the added multiplayer without it--considering you have friends to play games with. Replay value has increased dramatically which adds to the play time of a game. I can assure you that there are no more than 100 people that played through the L4D campaigns once and sold the game--unless it was rented and they didn't like it. That's because of the type of game it was. The game constantly changes as everything is random. There are varying difficulties and always new situations which are apart of the normal gameplay. Just because you are too dimwitted to understand the bigger picture doesn't mean the develpers work should be forgotten.
Get yo **** together "son"!
Really!..... So you're mad right now bec. your opinion isn't the same as others? Does posting in a forum make you feel smarter than other people bec. you think you made a point? Bravo! I'm not gonna go as low as you clearly made yourself. Arguing with someone in a forum & writing cursive, now who seems to be the child now? Go cry to yo momma!

I'm fairly certain that the child is still you..... And why would I be mad if I made my point--as you clearly stated. That seems a bit contradictive, but seeing as you have nothing of value left to say, besides mindless ranting that exemplifies your deteriorating brain rot. In fact, by making claims like "who seems to be the child now" and following up with "go cry to yo momma", you are only reinforcing your own ignorance and attacking me rather than making a decent argument. Considering that what you initially said was invalid, I'm not surprised you chose the latter and decided to prove your adolescence.....
I'm sure 2 years from now when you have your GED, you'll be very proud of yourself.

**** research **** sometime. It has been known that there would NOT be new campaigns. Seriously people how can you be disappointed when they TOLD you what the dlc would include?

Well you could have waited to buy it. No one forces you to buy games not to mention the dlc was FREE so they could have easily charged you $10 so there you go. When new campaigns are introduced we will see if we are charged or not.
I can picture skinny Microsoft financial analysts/adivisors withl.o.n ghair, demon eyes, 5'oclock shadows, and well pronounced bulging veins viewing this thread on their computers surrounded by stacks of money on their desk while sinisterly grinning and cackeling as they admire their diabolical, meticulously calculated plan unfold. They are thinking why didn't I decide to get in the business of massive manipulation of gamers eons ago, they are so retarded.
Somehow, they have accomplished the impossible, a task that has never before been accomplished since the dawn of man. They have reached territorypreviously unchartedthroughout the annals of history. They have convinced people that they just got ripped off because they did not pay a cent for a product.

Well I suppose I should try to find the good in everything. The lesson I learned here is that nothing is impossible. If this can come true, then I am convinced that humans can defeat death.

Thank GOD you said veins after having said "well pronounced bulging....", hahaha!
FYI, you should check out how much money MS actually makes on every $ spent. It is significantly less than what you probably imagine and much lower than that of companies like Apple.
Yea, what was I thinking. I am sure these microsoft executives are having a blast losing money on this endeavor. I am sure that they would decide to continue something that they are losing money off of just because it makes guys like you and me happy. Silly me, accusing these well to do men of mass extortion. I just dont know what comes over me sometimes........ I am sure these people dont really care about not making money, as so evidenced by the amount theCORPORATIONspends to the amount the CORPORATION makes. Surely that SPEND factor is not used on their salary..... It is just used on making video games and the like...... Not on salaries, who would ever think that.......
