I bought Fable a few months ago from the xbox originals section, it worked fine and all, but ever since the NXE update, I havent been able to play any of my xbox 1 games on my xbox 360. Whenever I try to play Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, Halo 2, Mortal Kombat: Armaggedon, etc, a window pops up saying something like "Cant play this game, please download again." Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried clearing the cache and it still doesnt work.
no it hasnt happened to me but im sure your not the only one. I say ya just follow the instructions and DL the games again cuz the liscences are still yours so its free to DL again. If these are Disc Games and that is the message you recieve, delete your saved games and or expansions. If none of this applys im sorry cant tell ya, im looking at it through logic not computer expertese
If you still have your original Xbox that would be the best way to do it. Xbox 360 isn't very good for Xbox games. Not just the fact that over half of the games don't work at all, but the games that do work seem to have problems.
Yea, for me, the message comes up no matter what xbox 1 game I put in. I dont have an older xbox console anymore either. I guess im just gonna have to live with the fact that I have 15 games that wont work, including the 1200 points i wasted on Fable.
did you buy it off marketplace? If you did did you try downloading it again like it said? gears90
Yea, I've re-downloaded the game 4 times and the message still shows up. I'm already out of warranty, so calling isnt an option for me. Im sure their just gonna ask me to pay $100 to fix it anyways and I'm not about to spend $100 to get something like this fixed.
