I am just wondering. Is everyone here just a bunch of new comers, because I would hate for everyone to just play RE5 without any experience of the other titles. It seems like that might be the case though...NAPK1NS
oh yeah i played them all, well most anyway didnt get the chance on survivor or veronica. but all the rest.
Oh no, I've been on the RE bandwagon since Jill was still the "Master of Unlocking" in 1996. It's one of my favorite series . . . I could tell you more about the characters and universe of these games than would be considered psychologically healthy. So when I say RE5 makes me giddy as a school girl, it's not just because it's pretty. Though that sure as hell doesn't hurt.bigjoehI hear you man! I gotta admit tho i have never beaten code veronica or zero. But beat all the rest. Two and four were the best imo.
RE is my favorite series then comes MGS, favorite RE games would be Resident Evil 2 &RE Code Veronica for the dreamcast and Resident Evil 4,
Been a Fan since the first Resident Evil..
Finished & Have All The Games but not Resident Evil: Gaiden (GBC) & Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (DS)
Can't wait for Resident Evil 5( Xbox360) & Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (Wii)
I would say I am a fan, not a diehard until recently.
I played 2 when I was younger and had loads of fun. But I wasn't a hardcore gamer like I am now, so I never got hooked. But when Remake came out on GC, I picked up the rest of the series, minus 0 before 4 came out. I still have yet to play 0, but will get around to it hopefully before 5.
Well lets see. i've played RE, RE2, RE3, Code Veronica, REmake(can saftlely say that is the scariest game i have ever played), RE0( which was decent but a little easy)Crappy RE2 remake, and crappy RE3 remake RE4(second favorite game ever) and even Resident Evil Deadly Silence, which contrary to popular belief, i thought was very good and the Rebirth mode was a nice refresher.
So yea i consider myself a real fan of the series. Unfortunately i don't remember much of the plots for 2 and 3.
(and i have also played Dead aim but i hardely consider that as a RE game)
Yeah...I remember playing all nighters of Resident Evil 1.
Jill: "Barry...Where's Barry?" Wesker:"Well I'm sorry, but he's probably..."
*It's Forrest from Alpha team. He's been pecked to death by crows. He's become a mere shadow of his former self...*
I remember keeping up on all the news of RE2 when it was in the making, and being so chocked when Capcom decided to scrap the entire RE2 project when it was 3/4 finished, because they were unhappy with it. And then when it was finally released, I remember being so blown away at the graphical enhancements, especially with the variety of zombies, as opposed to seeing them all wearing labcoats or whatever. And then there was the choice of two characters, not to mention two different stories for each character. So cool...I still own both.
RE3 I wasn't as big on...Code Veronica I didn't play until the re-release on the PS2, which I really enjoyed. RE0 was super cool, as I didn't expect the graphical quality to be as stellar as it was. The character swapping was a cool addition as well I thought.
RE4 I have nothing but good things to say about. The fact that Capcom could creep me out on so many levels. Burlap sack wearing chainsaw wielding maniacs, bloodthirsty backwoods villiagers, cultists, alien parasites, the addition of buying items and upgrading weapons, and increasing the size of your inventory. All around just so cool!
