Is Anyone unhappy with the xbox exclusive titles ?

I can't say that i'm not enjoying my xbox , I'm generally happy with pretty much everything and I'm definitely getting the newer Xbox One S . But Microsoft really disappointed me with their exclusive titles , The PS4 has some really awesome upcoming games with amazing graphics and much more , and sadly Microsoft has pretty much nothing to offer :/

Is anyone annoyed by this issue ? And is there any real reason behind this lack of good exclusive titles ?

Sounds like you'd rather a PS4, because there are just as many good exclusives on XB1 as PS4 I think...

Which phucking lack of "good" exclusives ? Good is a matter of opinion, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. So, out of the "good" exclusives PS4 has coming in the next months I'm interested in NONE. Gears 4 takes a dump on every PS4 upcoming exclusive for me, btw, I do own PS4.

The only great exclusives I have for PS4 are Bloodborne, U4 and Alienation. I don't care for R&C so that's out, Until Dawn doesn't interest me which is why I'll pass on Detroit: Become Cage. All I see in my future is The Last Guardian and I'm cautious about it, Horizon looks stellar and Spiderman but how long for that?

I look forward to Recore next month, Gears 4, DR4 in December, Halo Wars 2 in feb, Sea of Thieves, Scalebound and Crackdown. Seems good to me.

For as long as these systems have been out i would have expected more quality exclusive games. I think if you count Tomb Raider as Xbox exclusive... Xbox may have the edge.

Hahaha for Xbox you listed 3 remakes and 4 games that are also on PC...those don't count as exclusives in my books.

I'm like you OP, I enjoy my Xbox but think the exclusives have been weak. It has some nice looking games on the horizon though with Scale Bound and Crackdown.

Xbox One has some great ones, maybe not as profile as you want but they're there and great nonetheless. I really liked Dead Rising 3, and can't wait for Dead Rising 4. Also State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition. Halo MCC and Halo 5, if you get the XB1S those are included in the 500GB edition. The whole Forza series is great, there's Forza 5, Horizon 2, Forza 6, and Forza Horizon 3 is coming soon. Titanfall is pretty awesome and it always on sale for the Deluxe Edition that has all the DLC. Rise of the Tomb Raider is also really good, though about to get ported to PS4. I really dug Screamride too. I sure as hell haven't been disappointed. Gears of War Ultimate runs great, and Gears of War 4 is coming, though I'm not sold on it yet I'm still hoping for the best.

There's also a great selection of BC games. Red Dead Redemption plays great. There's Left 4 Dead 1 & 2. They just put up Far Cry: Blood Dragon, never tried but watching videos it runs great and looks awesome. Also got done with Call of Juarez Gunslinger, I really enjoyed that.

@wickedmk: Why would you get the Xbox One S? It's the same Xbox One. If you want an upgrade wait for Scorpio next year.

Honestly, as a ps2 and ps1 fan The first Xbox had mainly racing and shooter exclusives. That stopped a little with the 360, and now with Xb1 they have branched out to even more different genres. The Xbox One exclusives are pretty damn awesome, the only one I miss is Street Fighter V cuz I've been obsessed with SF since the arcades lol. Killer Instinct is deff also one of my favorite fighting games, so it sort of balances for me.

Bottom Line: As long as you enjoy what and who your playing with, that's all that counts.

I am very unhappy with them, I have no exclusives for the Xbone and don't want any of them.

Not really and if I think about it it's actually the opposite, I'm a little bit shocked at the quality.

Take for instance Forza 6, I've been playing it more recently because of the open championship and I'm amazed with the content of the game there are so many modes, online and single player, so many cars....lots of little refinements in gameplay over previous games, etc. If I had a game like this when I was much younger, holy moly I would done so bad in school lol. I would have no problem purchasing an Xbox One for that game alone...I have several people on my friends list who just use their Xbox as a Forza machine, they dont play anything else.

So no issues about quality, but in terms of diversity sure they could improve there. A high profile survival horror game would be great for instance. You cannot win them all though, and luckily there are multiplatform games to fill the gap in genres, or for the people who prefer just owning all the systems you can do that as well.

Its the opposite for me. I own both but aside from uncharted 4 and spiderman, no ps excluisves that are available or announced interest me. Xbox on the other hand has gears 4, forza horizon 3, sea of theives, scalebound and cuphead that im looking forward to. And yes im aware that those are coming to pc, im talking console exclusives that I cant get on my ps4.

I recently went from having a PS4 and having zero interest in Xbox One altogether until I saw E3. Now I have an Xbox S and already have more games downloaded or on the wishlist for it than I ever had for games on the PS4. I still have both systems. But it already feels like Ive used the Xbox more in two weeks than I have used the PS4 the past three months.

Bold are games you listed that are not exclusive. 'Platform exclusive' yes in some cases but true exclusive no. And remakes aren't exclusives either, because they are bringing an older game onto another platform. Odd that we have reached the point were PS4/PC or Xbox/PC games are considered exclusives.

However I do agree with you that for being out for almost three years, you would think that PS4/Xbone would have more to show for their existence than they do. Definitely been a very slow gen to get off the ground.

I'm more than happy with what the XB1 has put out, so much so it has stopped me from purchasing a PS4.

It's sounds crazy, but the XB1 fills all my racing needs there's no reason to buy any other console right now.

Both consoles have some good exclusives but the funny thing is I spend the majority of my time playing the multiplatform games so it almost doesn't matter. I am more looking forward to what Neo has to offer when it comes to Sony. If it's able to play all current PS4 titles at 1080p/60 I'd be a happy man.

I've had a PS4 since launch and have been greatly disappointed.

Second son was good, the rest of the games I just never got into them.

Last of Us is fantastic but i already played it on the PS3, Uncharted is extremely boring and I can't get into that franchise, I love god of war but the new one looks awful.

So far Halo 5 has been great, I was surprised at sunset overdrive, and I put a lot of hours into Titanfall.

EA Access is fantastic too, something Sony turned down, which shocks me.. that service has given me so many games to play.

I still like my PS4.. but it's been a letdown.

Xbox has no TRUE exclusives

But to answer that question, I'm happy with these "exclusives"

@wickedmk: Exclusives are based on personal opinions, for example you may not like the games coming out on Xbox One. But some other individuals might, and there is nothing wrong with that. If you are disappointed with the games on Xbox then it's a shame, because I think they're are very good games coming out on it.

I think it's safe to say Nintendo wins in Exclusives and Sony wins in 3rd party games.

Well, when I got the PS4, that was going to be my last console I was going to buy and I'm sticking to that. But, as of right now, there are only three Xbox one exclusives I'm interested in, those being Ryse, son of Rome, Sunset Overdrive and Halo Wars 2. Out of those three, I know for sure that can play two of them once I upgrade my pc, (In 2020), so that brings me down to one exclusive. (And until I see Sunset Overdrive on steam or in the Microsoft marketplace on windows, I will never believe it's coming to PC. While I did believe it would come to Pc when the rumors first broke, after two years of hearing PC gamers bragging about it still on youtube causes me to just shake my head no.)

Granted there is the Halo games and Forza, but I've had just about enough of Halo on my Xbox 360, and as for Forza, it's not all that big of a deal with Gran Trusimo Sport coming out on the PS4.

I guess what I'm saying... is that I'm unimpressed with the Xbox one line-up. Some games look good, not enough for me to change my mind.

The only things I'm unhappy with reguarding Xbox Exclusives are the lack of a few games:

New Kung Fu Chaos game,

New Banjo Platform game

New Conker

An action Ninja game like Ninja Gaiden.

1st party baseball game.

Not allowing Black Tusk Studio finish the Shangheist game.

Other than those omissions Xbox One has a pretty good library.

The only thing pulling me to the XBONE is the exclusives - and hopefully the PS4 will continue to dominate in sales so that Moneybags Microsoft will release more worthy exclusives.

It's actually the rest of the XBONE - the weaker hardware, the online server activations (err...I mean Day 1 patches) that I don't like. Hopefully Scorpio will fix these.

I mean as far as this year goes. The Playstation 4 doesn't have a solid lineup in terms of games coming out. GT Sport was delayed on top of that, for anyone interested in trying to pick that up. I'm waiting to see what Sony tends to show off in terms of the Neo this Wednesday in New York and I'll go from there. Either Neo or Xbox One S until I can snag a Scorpio in the future...

@sakaixx: This isn't system wars and there is nothing funny about Xbox fans who were excited for Scalebound not getting to play a highly anticipated game.

I am kinda disappointed with Microsoft's exclusives. The only ones I am optimistic about is State of Decay 2, Crackdown 3 and Cuphead. The rest don't interest me. Sea of Thieves could be cool if it was single player open world game with co operative gameplay but as lone wolf gamer there isn't much for a guy like me. Halo Wars 2 doesn't hold my interest, RTS games on consoles never did. I bought Dead Rising 4 when it launched and it's a great game that I recommend everybody to get. It's so much fun trying to find all the collectibles and blue prints to craft these hilariously awesome weapons. Which are thought out good.

The exclusives they do have mostly interest me so I'm happy, but on the other hand I would like to see more that cover different genres.

They have FPS, TPS and racing covered so hoping for some RPG's, Action/adventure and story driven games.

They have a lot of great ones. ori was my fav game the year it came out. QB was great and sunset overdrive plus all the indies. I however wish they would get more games like Nioh. Single player exclusives would be great but what sucks is anytime there is a single player exclusive it usually doesn't sell well. I liked QB alot but from what I understand it under performed. sucks

I am unhappy about Scalebound. Unhappy with both Platinum and MS for that. The idea that its all MS' fault when its well reported that Platinum has been on this game 3 1/2 years and the engine still chugs is absurd. They own blame there as well.

Recore and Ryse have potential as IPs. But MS doesn't own Ryse. Wish they would remedy that. Recore has some great platforming, but the combat and overall interest is flat.

Halo 5 is stellar as is Gears 4 imo. Halo Wars 2 I am finding in the 5 hours I have been playing it is great fun, like the first game. GS has a bone to pick with Xbox it would seem as they have a tendency to low ball the games in comparison to their Meta average.

I'm enjoying the games. That's really what counts.

Kind of. I hope that Xbox One eventually gets its equivalent of Ninja Gaiden Black. I also want to see a new IP that starts a franchise on the level of Halo and Gears.

Wanted to add to this. Considering the financial *cough* crysis *cough* that Crytek is in, might be a good time for Microsoft to swoop in with a bag of money and see if they can't buy Crytek and it's IPs on the cheap. If they wanted to they could turn Ryse into their own God of War, and Crysis would be another great shooter that fits the Xbox catalog. Give them another big franchise to swap out every 5-6 years with the other 4(Halo, Gears, Crackdown and Fable).

Yes kinda. The only Xbox exclusive I am hyped for is Crackdown 3. Other than that the other games are meh unless Halo 6 is announced on E3.

I mostly play the big multiplats. None of the exclusives on xbox or ps really appeal to me.

I'll sign on to this as well. They likely could pick them up on the cheap and be a marriage made in heaven especially for something special just for Scorpio.

Microsoft is having a hard time getting more exclusives out compared to PS4. They could do more with Rare games, Crytek as a company and others. A real shame for the people who were interested in Scalebound, this would've made a huge exclusive.

I did hear somewhere that Major Nelson is going on a tour trough Japan on behave of Microsoft to license new games for Xbox. I'll just wait till the E3, I got enough to play until then and hopefully Microsoft will be able to show some good

Xbox one has amazing exclusives (windows 10 and xbox one only).

Gears of war 4 at 60fps feels so smooth (same for ultimate/1remake) forza horizon 3 is awesome and gonna buy halo wars 2 next week.

Ps4 also has exclusives I like.

ps4 pro + xbox one s 2tb = many years of gaming for me :)
