I just wanted to know people's opinions on whether the two games have enough differences to warrant a purchase of BFBC2. I already have MW2, but I was wondering if BC2 brings anything different to the table. Im not really asking which one is bet, I just dont want to buy bc2 only to have it be like the exact same experience on mw2. Is there enough uniqueness between the two that they wont feel the exact same?

Yes both games are completly different ones Battlefield for one thats enough said the other is an arcady style run and gun such as COD . battlefield brings alot that Cod Does not for example destruction and vehicles and big battles great game A must buy
Eh, it's definitely not the same, but only get it if a few of your friends have it. It is not very fun to play alone. I guess it just depends on the style of game you want. bc2 is an objective-based, slower paced squad tactical game if that's your thing. I personally like mw2's gameplay better, but I have more of a preference for more fast-pacedonline. I would just rent it and see if you like it.
ah well thanks everyone, i guess that solves the question of whether they're completely different. i guess i'll try out bc2, possibly buy it. but not before buying assassin's creed 2 ;)
Unless you have a good amount of money to spend, but tbh the games aren't that much different so I'd rent it. Especially looking at all the great looking games coming out this May you might want to hold onto that money.
