Why are you attempting to tell people not to buy a 9.0 rated game?

well its just my opinion, im saying that i wouldnt buy it. there are alot better games coming out this year, dont waste money on bioshock.
yes, gameplay, controls, graphics, artwork, solid framerate, story, sound.. all top quality.. i'd say the game is almost perfect.
I just got my new EGM in the mail yesterday. They gave Bioshock three 10s- a perfect score. I've read this magazine since it came out. I only remember this happening like once in the last 10 years. If it is really that good I will definately buy it. I just wanted some gamers opinions and not a magazine editor or reviewer.fanboy999
I bought Bioshock and regret it now. At first I thought this game totally deserved a 9.0 rating from gamespot. But after beating the game I feel like it deserves a 7.0. This game gets really repetitive and the enemies are so similar. I am not going to spoil the storyline but I thought it was absolutely terrible. I have no desire to play this game ever again.
I would recommend renting this game. It is one of those games you play to pass the time until Halo 3 comes out and then for the big one : The Orange Box.
Its a good game, but its not perfect. Personally its not worth $60 bucks just because replay is quite low. RandomTask221
Name some games that are actually worth a 60 dollar price point.
I wouldnt say Perfect but it is deffinently an AWESOME game that cannot be missed. The only thing i found wrong with it was the story was a bit difficult to followsonofabear17
Yea. Too many diairies to listen too.

Seriously, if this world was perfect games would cost how much they worth, $20 maybe $30.Bioshock is a great game, and yet after finishing it Bioshock becomes deminished. Finish the game and find out yourself. It is not that I "regret" my purchase, but I feel I would have been better served spending my $60 elsewhere, and renting this game. I might play it through one more time to finish up the achievements, and this time 'kill' all the little girls and see the different ending. I will say the ending was one HUGE dissapointment.

far from a 10 imo. more like a 7.5 - 8.0
Its the closest thing i've ever played to perfect, as far as single player games anyway.
Story: A+
Gameplay: A+
Graphics: A+
What else do you want? (Other than multiplayer)
Don't listen to people like this, for a true gamer Bioshock is one of those games that doesn't come around very often. To miss out on it would be a shame. 9.5 all the way.[QUOTE="fanboy999"]I just got my new EGM in the mail yesterday. They gave Bioshock three 10s- a perfect score. I must agree...this game is AMAZING!!! the best 360 game to date imo. Co-op or multiplayer would have made it perfect. I can't wait to play through the game again (and possibly again, and again)
COME ON people the game IS perfect because it has:
1- the coolest story in the world ( don't read it at wikipedia )
2- IT HAS A HIGH REPLAY VALUE yes it dose because you have to finish it in:
a- hard mode - be a good guy
b- normal mode -be a good guy
c- hard - be a badass
d- normal - be a badass
good - save little sisters
badass - kill them all
3- coolest graphics
4- cool weapon upgrades
5-infinite customization
man.....they should have let me advertise for the game XDDDDDDDDDD

dont let people lie to you, it is the best game to come out with a 1st person perspective sisnce half life 2, people like to beat on this game or adore it, it is slow but you HAVE to be willing to get into the story (otherwise its not that great) , im not sure what EGM gave HL2 but if its under bioshock its loopy otherwise this game is awesome

I somewhat agree with this whole paragraph....most people on here with disagree saying its the greatest game ever made, and if it is to them thats great. But, just like the above fellow im in the same boat. I really enjoyed the game, but after beating it I realized "it was VERY GOOD but hardly perfect". No, im not trying to be picky...i wont point out flaws because seriously, there aren't many. But i also can't say i was thoroughly satisfied after i completed the story.
I am much more enjoying Metroid Prime 3 right now...most will obviously disagree and thats fine....but for me, if any game is nearly PERFECT...Metroid Prime 3 takes the cake. But then again, im still only 25% completed so that could change later on.
In my opinion Bioshock is a 9.5, the best game on the 360 and the most creative game since Shadow of the Colossus on PS2, maybe even more so. There are other games with better shooting on 360, but there is no better FPS on 360. In my opinion.blue-fish
yea, i kind of tend to reserve 10s for games that are my favorite and i know they are before they come out, but those are few and all made by bioware....

i put down bioshock for metroid 3, but it doesnt mean bioshock is worse, i like metroid a lot
I will put it to you like this.On this site 606 poeple who played it reveiwed the game out of 606 people,94.55% percent of those people rated it as great, superb, and perfect. 5% were great, that means that Damn near 90% percent of the 606 people rated it a 9 or better. Numbers do not lie.
why is it wrong to say Bioshock wasn't the perfect experience? Geez.
I myself aren't putting the game down at all...and if people think its the greatest game EVER MADE, thats AWESOME...even someone said that this was the first time they felt like they were in the world...and thats AMAZING.
But people have to understand not every person will have the same experience...It doesn't matter if majority of critic reviewers consider this a 10/10....that doesn't make up the whole community.
The game is very well done and deserves to be played, no doubt....but the fact that people are getting upset because not every person LOVES THE GAME TO DEATH is absurd and unfair.
