oh yea another is mass effect. also not sure about that game and how it is. whats better bioshock or mass effect? does mass effect have online. thankscmw3218
No Online in Mass Effect, I have not yet played it, my bro tells me its amazing but I dont have time for one of those games that would eat up many horus of my life.
Im still trying to decide whether i should i get this game or not. i going to the store to possibly get it but i keep passing on getting it. my main question to whether getting it is, is it worth it since it doesnt have online/multiplayer. Im also considering Assasins Creed, i dont know much about that but it looks pretty good. Just want something different to play beside cod4, halo3 and pgr4. tnhanks for any helpcmw3218
Sorry for the triple post here gamespot. Umm. Assassins Creed I have purchased also but am only about one hour into the game, the first hour was impressive, kinda confusing abit, have to get used to it still. Just have had so many games that I have not had the time. But Assassins Creed seems alot like Prince of Persia if you have ever played that series, which IMO was amazing so im expecting good things from Assassins Creed once I get into it.
In my opinion Bioshock is totally worth it, it's not a long game, however it has an excellent story and the gameplay awesome, I have gone through the game four times and I love it. Mass Effect on the other hand has a really good story and it will last you longer if you do the side quests. Assassin's Creed is a good game, but it's really repetitive, IMO you should get Bioshock or Mass Effect over Assasin's Creed.
i know you said you havent played it but if you know, what game will last me longer and i guess what game is just more fun between mass effect and bioshock. also wat one is more shooter like, cause i do love shooters just want something a little different from a straight shooting game.[QUOTE="cmw3218"]oh yea another is mass effect. also not sure about that game and how it is. whats better bioshock or mass effect? does mass effect have online. thankszeldafan00013

thats the thing though, i usually never play games over much unless the gameplay is just really good(GeOW first game ever played through 3 times lol). so if i get a just single player game, to me the gameplay must be really good and somewhat long story. In my opinion Bioshock is totally worth it, it's not a long game, however it has an excellent story and the gameplay awesome, I have gone through the game four times and I love it. Since you don't want to play fps like cod4, halo3 (mass effect and bioshock are fps), i suggest Assasins Creed.

Mass effect isn't FPS though and Bioshock is more of an FPS/RPG...to some extentkk trust me

The three are amazing games, however, Bioshock is surely the superior. The story is deep and the gameplay is unique.
Assassin's Creed has some pretty awesome gameplay, and the story is somewhat intriguing. The ending is a cliff hanger, so if you don't like cliff hanger's dont get it. Only problem with this game is that it gets repetitive (i.e. constantly doing the same things, AI's only have like 5-8 lines that they keep repeating)
Mass Effect has a deep story. It has a number of different side missions you can do, I have completed roughly 40 side missions and I only just got the achievement for completing the majority of the game. Played it for like 22 hours so far, so that can give you an estimate about how long it is. Gameplay is good. A shooter with magical abilities. It isnt innovative or anything, but its good enough for an RPG.
It all narrows down to what you want. I hope this description helped at least a little bit. My opinion stands with Bioshock.
Sine you have Halo 3 and CoD 4, you should consider Bioshock, despite its lack of multiplayer. But I'd rather get The Orange Box. Surprisingly, the Half Life bit of it seems to be the weakest part of the package, with TF2 and Portal. The 3 HL games make up for Bioshock's story by a lot, and Portal and TF2 add to it.

Bioshock is great and should be purchased by everyone who owns a 360 or PC.
Assassin's Creed is also really fun, but you may want to rent it. It's not very long and not everyone likes the story and gameplay.
Mass Effect is also really fun and is a lot like OBLIVION in space (both OBLIVION and ME are must own games).
None of the games listed above have MP or online.
but i still want somewhat of a shooter, just not something where its only about shooting.[QUOTE="proview"][QUOTE="cmw3218"]Im still trying to decide whether i should i get this game or not. i going to the store to possibly get it but i keep passing on getting it. my main question to whether getting it is, is it worth it since it doesnt have online/multiplayer. Well if u want something that its not only about shooting i think Mass Effect suits u best, but Bioshock has a great story though.
