Hopefully they will think of something new. I wouldnt want to see another marathon or oni game.... think it was called oni? Anybody know that ps2 game they made that was published by rockstar?
Bungie will try something new and if that game doesn't take off like Halo did they will probably make another game set in the Halo universe for the next Xbox. I find it hard to believe Microsoft won't pressure Bungie to make another Halo game when they release the successor to the 360.
Ya i would like to see a myth game but Bungie will come up with something new. im pretty sure they have been thinking for a very long time what to come up with next. They probably had ideas on what to make after Halo 1, should it not be as successful as it became to be. So im sure they have some neat ideas they are toying with for there next game. For all we know its probably in development.
no there not, if they were to have never made halo they would have been lost, but bungie has proved that they can make a game with a huge fan base and people will support games they make now for that reason
I'm actually looking forward to bungie post-halo. The first halo was pretty inventive, then for the past several years they've been sustaining that franchise, meaning the gameplay has stayed pretty much the same (understandably). I can't wait for them to have the freedom to use their creativity to create a whole new game/franchise that isn't limited by the halo tradition.
