Is burnout paradise still active?

By the time I get a good car and complete most of single player, is the multiplayer still active? So if I'm looking for a race or a mode to play is it easy to find one (I don't think I'll be getting the dlc). So should i choose this game or another? As theres no point playing if the community isnt active.

Yes people still play it, im on there once in awhile. The dlc is worth getting also.
