I say it is. There's still alot to it, the campaign has a lot of new features and lasts quite a bit if you play it on veteran and there's also the challenge of finishing the mile high club.

it's only worth a rent then imo, multiplayer is where this you'll get most of your enjoyment from this game even though the singleplayer is rememberable and intense but very short

for me, not realy. but it would seem that alot of ppl enjoy the hole stereotypical man soldiers who have 24hr irrections for things like m16's and death.

meh the game is fun, the graphics are good, and the storyline and the likewise situations it puts you in are original and captivating.

Great single player, just a little short.

No..

The Mile High Club is really simple, the campaign is wayyyy too short even for vetern. I bet the game on the second hardest level (hard right :D) in 5 hours. I got 30 out of 39 acheivments(I think). Also, I then procedded to do up to the part where you chasing that guys son in a village, then I did multiplayer for the rest of the weeks rental.

Absolutely not. Its a worthy rent, but it wont hold up without the multiplayer.

nah if you play on veteran its going to get pretty frustrating. if you play on normal its actually pretty short and other than going to beat it on veteran, there's not much replay value.

The question you should ask is "Is it worth $10/hr to play?" To me no game is worth that kind of money.

That's it? No reason why? Must have been a really bad experience for you.

I'd say it's not worth 60 dollars for a single player. Is it worth 40? Yea maybe. The bigger question is, why would you be worried about getting CoD offline when you can get XBL for a year for the same price. If you already have a big shooter....then your crazy for not having XBL and would be better off spending the CoD money on Live.

I would seriously consider just renting it. This game, like a few others (Halo, etc) really get their mileage in the multi-player realm. The COD4 eingle player is pretty short, but def something to experience, you may just be disappointed that you spent $60 on it.

Just for the single player it is not worth it.... unless you can find the game for $30 or less.

Story might be cool and all, but once it's over, it's over.... Not much replayability, either.

Don't worry, I probably have played everything you've played, read about, watched, and forgotten so I'm good there.

You had me convinced at "wayy"

I'm glad your not naming them. Saves me time telling you why your wrong.

That's cool. Just enjoy your half-assed game. Infinity Ward's really got people fooled.

I purchased Call of Duty for $37.99. Although, COD4 with multiplayer is worth $60. I wouldnt shell out more than $40 if the game only had a singler player campaign. It was excellent but short, and not worth $60.

not the 60 bucks but half of that?Yes. The single player is great but not worth the full price!
