i got a 26" dynaflat samsung hdtv. its a crt and weighs about 90 lbs. its freaking heavy i recently moved from the basement to second story of house so i had to lug that sucker up two stories. crts are decent but if i could i would take the lcd.xbox360isgr8t
im not too concerned with the weight, just the Image Quality.

Hmm, I think LCD provides better image but I'm not sure. It comes down to what input your using, VGA or component.

If you want temporary cheap solution, a plasma is really nice too. It has life spam about 10 years which I think it is good enough for the price. And when you get LCD, get a real LCD, not LCD projection which is just a projection TV in reality.magicalclickwe just bought a 42" samsung plasma and its life span is 27 yrs at 6 hours a day. so dont generalize like that
