It still is a very fun game. It can get stale after a while though. How much money is it now?

I think I'm the only person that will say this... but I liked the save system. Sure, it would have more than one save slot (not that I would have used it because your level passes to new games), but having to save in specific locations made it more intense.

The only thing I wish it had was a sandbox mode where all you have to worry about is killing zombies and not completing the cases or running out of time like infinity mode

The save system was a pain but i honestly think it added to the gameplay. It's one of the only games I've played that really made me terrified of dying.

the save system is a normal save system. Just like any other RPG or other game. CoD and GoW only has 1 save slot. People need to stop being babies.

How is it not? In GTA games you can only save in certain buildings spread around the city. At first there is only 1 save point. In Dead Rising you can only save in bathrooms or the maitenance room, and they are spread pretty evenly around the mall. Sure you could have more than 1 slot but I never even used more than 1 save slot on GTA games.

The save system was annoying early in the game when I was still getting used to the frantic pace of the game, what with a million side missions popping up like crazy in addition to the main story. But after gaining a few levels with more health and item slots its not that bad at all.

The save system isnt that bad, however it can be frustrating. You simply have to fight to your next save point. I cant remember now if a save advances the clock or not.

So wait, you can save more than once just not use more than one slot? I was under the impression that you could only save one time throughout the whole game??? If this is true that you can save more than once but just use the one slot I'll have to pick it up. I never use more than one slot on any game anyways.

Heh, now that would be a pretty poor save system.

I really liked the game even though I disliked it when I first started playing it.

I was like WHAT! when I heard that there was only one save slot but it didn't affect me any way when I played the game.

You can save in 2 different slots if you have a hard drive and a memory card. But i think that the save system is good fot this game because if it were like oblivion, it would be extremely easy! Besides, you can't get tired of killing zombies!!! the only thing I hated it were the hostages AI

Yeah the hostages were complete idiots, kinda like in the movies. Matter of fact I yelled at the screen alot, just like when watching a zombie flick.

It's pretty fun just when you finish a hard part or something or you have killed a bunch of zombies just save then. Try saving ever 20 mins because the game can freeze and you don't wanna start over.

Johny : "How is dead rising ?"

Bob : "It's freaking awsome man . But don't buy it , you can only have 1 save."

that pretty much how this topic look to me :P .
