I know the ending :( the gameplay looks amazing, but potentially repetitive with all the same environment and enemies. i was wondering if i should still buy the game? or should i buy RE5 instead? Thanks!

Between RE5 and Dead Space. I say go with Dead Space its has better gameplay, story, atmosphere and a lot of replay value. Don't get me wrong RE5 isn't a bad game and it offers a lot replay value to.

It's best that you rent it. The game can be finished in under 10 hours and there's not much replay value (aside from upgrading weapons).

Dead space is a more enjoyable game in my opinion. In saying that it's a rental, you can blow through the story in around 8 to 10 hours. And there's not much to do after you complete other than playing in a higher difficulty.

I have not played RE5, but Dead Space is a great game. I really enjoyed it, IMO it has a decent amount of replay value.

If your looking between dead space and RE5... RE5 is the clear winner it has online multiplayer, different characters, a variety of weapons and you dont lose your stuff at the end of the game.(If changing difficulty)

I'd get RES 5 over Dead Space. They are both amazing games, i just feel because you know the ending of Dead Space, it'll kind of ruin the experience for you. Also i feel RES 5 has alot more value for money.

Exactly the same thing with me, the game gets horrendous boring when you get to about chapter 7.

I own both and enjoy DS slightly better but RE5 will shine if you play it with a friend since it is basically a Co-op game.

Dead Space is brilliant...but even brilliant games can get boring at times, especially Dead Space because you're playing by yourself the whole time.
