ok i know this is a good game but my parents wont let my buy it dont ask about that but they let me play resestance 2 call of duty 4 and gears of war 2 with gore off so i am asking how much inerpropreit content is there in this game or can you turn it off or somthing please help me convince game i so want this
They say the F-Word and S-Word quite alot and yes its very very violent there are many decapitations and overall just body mutilations limbs and everything go flying all over the place. Im finally old enough that i buy any game i want and i tell you my parents would hate this game if they knew i had it haha. so yeah i doubt they would want you to have it
oh yeah and you do come across some hookers there isnt anything shown just some dialogue and suggestive talking, other than them wearing nothing but nightgowns
They allow you to play violent games but this is beyond violent, this game shows you the worst in human beings and allows you take part in many of these things. This is definitely not one for the kiddies.
oh yes i did forget to mention that it is a very heavy game like you can almost feel your actions having an impact on yourself it gave me all kinds of weird dreams the first week of playing it

its in the same line as gears man, drug use and decaputation are quite frequent tho
Fallout 3 deserves its mature rating rather than some games which just try to get it to be cool. The slow motion exploding body parts should be enough to get the M rating by itself, but if not there is also a lot of swearing, drug use, slavery (including buying and capturing slaves), prostituion, torture, mutilation and gore. Definitely not one for the children.

agrees.... I don't have Fallout, but I've been contemplating getting it. The thing that turns me off is the shooting, but the whole decision making thing is a huge plus. I may have to get it.
I can only imagine what kind of havoc this game would cause if it came out in ohhhhh say 1992-1993. All that drama over Mortal Kombat would be so insignificant compared to a game like this, I would have loved to see it and all the parents getting all worked up.

wow. ive played the game and got 1000/1000 and nothing is bad in that game,i mean sure you can shoot someones head off but you can do that in gears also.maybe your parents know that its a washington dc wasteland and see thats where we're going and dont want you to see it ha ha idk. but you should be able to play it. if not say buy me army of two and turn the volume up and listen to the f-bombs drop for no reason

this game is violent. if u aim for the head the person or thing's head pops off and roles around. maybe not a game for u if ur parents aren't letting u get it.
