Is fallout new vegas dull?

One of the things that put me off the last game was that it seem's to be all black, grey and white. I know it may sound stupid but i just can't play games that are that dull.Also i dont mind if some places are dull.So is the new one all dark, dreary colours?

Fallout New Vegas is a little more colourful than Fallout 3. Especially THE STRIP of Vegas, where you have all kinds of neon signs flashing at you...

The rest of the Mojave desert is yellowish, brownish...

I'm more keen to know if all the bugs and glitches I've heard about affect the game heavily or not :/danwishart

it depends. I have finished the game over 6 times and never had a game breaking bug. Other players cant get rid of them...So there is no telling how it would turn out to be for you..

I started playing it last night, I prefer it to Fallout 3.

I got the game the Friday after release & started playing that day. I have since played through twice & never noticed a single bug and/or glitch that made the game any less enjoyable. I constantly see comments about it when the game is brought up, so I don't understand why I never experienced any of it.

I'm more keen to know if all the bugs and glitches I've heard about affect the game heavily or not :/danwishart

Just two of my characters are level 30. One of them is level 30 on Very Hard and Hardcore mode.

Well, the most common glitches in my game were:

Freezing on me (Happened atleast 20 times)

Gun not firing for a few seconds.

Nothing too serious, but the freezing was a HUGE annoyance. Fallout 3 only froze on me twice.

If you liked Fallout 3, then you'll most likely enjoy New Vegas.

IMHO it was very dull
