It's awesome. It has the best AI of any FPS yet. You will be facing the same enemies mostly throughout the game, so one might say it gets somewhat repetitive. But trust me, if you play it on a high difficulty level, you will be amazed by the AI and wish the game would never end. Multiple playthroughs easily.
It's good but far from being the best on the 360. Graphics wise its really good with some excellent lighting effects but the problem I find with F.E.A.R is that it really does get repetitive. Levels tend to be the same sought of interior office building environment and as for AI they're good but with slow mo time you can finish a room full of them easily before they can even flank you. And as for the game being a horror, don't be too nervous about playing this game because it's not like monsters are going to come out and get you in the game. The game can be pretty violent with blood effects so that would have to be one of the selling points for it.
If you have a decent enough spec PC I suggest getting it on the PC as there are more add-on's etc. If it's a decent FPS on the 360 you're after check out GRAW, PREY, Call Of Duty 3 and wait for The Darkness next week.
Let's just say that every time I started playing it I would wake up about six hours later with drool running down my chin. Really though I thought it was VERY boring. The graphics, meh...not bad but not good either. This is just my opinion though.

it's a pretty basic shooter. You can slow down time Max Payne style. Nothing really ground breaking but I liked it a lot still. It sets a creepy mood w/ its sound effects and environments and the online is fast paced action (but not that many people play right now). If your looking for a shooter to help pass time while you wait for new releases, FEAR will be a good buy.

Maybe it's just me but I did not even find it that hard. I had to try real hard to be interested enough to finish it even then it did not take very long. If you want a hard FPS with good online play go with R6 Vegas. Again this is just my opinion and I am not trying to knock you for yours.
Pretty much all the enemies are the same, all the stages are the same (offices & warehouses). It gets extremely repetitive and boring. Not a BAD game, but once you beat the first stage, you've pretty much seen it all.
If its cheap its worth picking up. Its not scary at all but has some good gameplay. Plus online can be fun since theres still people hosting rooms that can get full in minutes. The ending was CRAP though:(
Its an ok game. I enjoyed the single player for one play through. It has some tense moments and a lot of action. The on line I thought sucked. The achievments in it sucked also.
The graphics are OK and not dissapointing in anyway, the gameplay isgReat but this is not the game that u will be addicted as with titles like GRAW , gears and R6vegas, I can say its worth a trail if u want a FPS and runs on really good settings on the 360.

Hey man taste is relative and if you like it more power to you. I, along with allot of others I might add, just don't like the game. The general consensus is that it is boring and repetitive. This guy asked for our opinions and I gave him mine. Try not to take it personal it's not like I said anything about your momma.
