I just started playing again after a 6 month layoff. Its not as fun as it used to be for me. There are not as many people on line so It takes longer for the rooms to fill up. Its alot harder for me to find a game that has the right people in it to be fun.
gears if pretty much still totally uber 1337 awesome..lol but really though. it seems that gears is still unchallenged in graphics and is rather fun when there aren't addicted 10 year olds playing that screech into the microfones and yell at their little brother in ther high pitched voices"no you can't play!" and glitchers too....lol yeah ranked is still fun and i just fixed my NAT settings so i can host now, which i then use my awesome host powers to BOOT glitchers
Not really for me anymore.. it was back in the day though. I tried playing again and its just a rush for the sniper rifle, and everyone using shotguns. Not much fun for me in my opinion.
it's still really fun, except for those glitching weirdos. Plus, I haven't played it in a while, so it's really hard, and then there are so many trash talking a-holes. The community is the worst of any game I've seen.
You can't judge a game by the people who play it. Gears is still fun, if you guys really want to be that wussy about the sniper rifle, start up some custom games and swap the weapons. It helps to have some friends to play over LAN with, rather than looking for matches online.
Though I do still wish you could change up the starting weapons.
