As much as I like a gloss black finish, it's a real pain in the ass. My Xbox One collects a lot of dust with it's glossy look but having said that, it does look good haha. I think matte is the way to go.

I don't think there's a difference. I have a matte PS3 and it gathers a LOT of dust. At least on glossy consoles, they're less noticeable?

@Kjranu: No way man, the glossy black finish shows dust like crazy and it stands out much more than a matte finish. For comparison my PS4 is the Arkham Knight limited edition silver console which has a matte finish and you can hardly tell it's got dust sitting on it, although the silver colour helps too.
