is GoW2 really all that?

i rented it last month and i have seen that a lot of people think this is a AAA game,i wanna know if i am the only person that thinks that Gow2 is just a good game and nothing else....IMO it had a so so story (extremelly forgettable charecters),the gameplay was ok because im used to GTA4 and Uncharted and graphics are actually good,summing it up i would give it around 7.5-8/10

I love it. The MP is very fun.

at first i didnt see what was so good about gears 1 but once i had a few false starts with the campain, i started to really enjoy it and thus prompeted to me buy GoW 2 which i personally liked better.... no kryll or Berserkers FTW!!!

I like both games, but I did think that the second was better than the first. However, with that said, the second really didn't offer a whole lot over the first. Longer campaign and a slightly larger scale, but that was about it.

I think its awesome and definatly up to its own hype BUT its most definatly best played as a co-op gme with a buddy I find.

Gears 2 might not be the best game ever "BUT" it is a great one.

MP wise Gears 1 destroys Gears 2.

Most people who say it's cool are those who think gorey games are hardcore and gangster kids.

I think it's a great game but I didn't like the campaign that much. I still need to play it more often though.

i have gow2 and try it like two times and never played again , ithere is alot of better shooters in xbox

No we are not, we just happen to like it, its one of those games where you either love it and think everything from the action to the story are top notch, or you dont.
