Personally I think it's because the campaign had bad graphics or it wasn't that long.Alpha172
Bad graphics Halo 2 was one of the best looking games on xbox. I think the campaign was excellent really enjoyed it, most people just didn't like the ending.

Exactly - for me at least. I loved the game until the ending. It feels like it's building up for one or two last hardcore levels to finish the game out, but instead it just springs the ending on you feeling like you missed a level or two that should've been there. Other than that I thought it was a great game.
The single player campaign in halo2 was massively inferior to the campaign in halo1. I have lost count of how many times I have been through the single player campaign in halo1 but I only went through the campaign in halo2 once.
the only thing I really didn't like was the ending, like most people. Thats just no way to end a game. Then of course, Gears of War did it again... at least Halo 2 HAD a story... unlike Gear's swiss cheese of a story.
