Is Halo 3 good for someone who likes playing online?

I'v been hearing a lot of hate for Halo 3 and I'm wondering if anyone actually enjoyed it?

I got some questions... (answer as many as you like)

1.Is there a thrid-person mode, is it any good?
2.When you look down can you see your body? :P
3.How's the online?
4.Is there any vechicles online and how good are they?
5. Any customization's online?

its alright. some people don't like it because of the online of it like it takes a entire clip to kill sombody on some guns.

1. yes there is a 3rd person view only on torrits and driving a vihicle.

2. yes, u can only see ur legs. unlike most fps games but i don't care for that.

3. its a big community but people swear a lot and little 12 year olds screaming into the mic.

4. yes there r mongoose and the warhog. warhogs arn't on every map but its there.

5. a little. u can unlock armor which isn't that bad of a thing. u can also customize ur emblem that goes on gear and by ur name.

1. yes on torrents and driving a vehicle 2. yes you can see your thighs feet etc. 3. onlines mad fun, but just cuz there ranked high doesnt mean there good usually. (as in any game dealing with ranks) 4. yes theres mad vehicles, i wouldnt know i dont use em, customization yes. all upper body is customizable along with colors....you seriously never play a halo game? or seen game play?

The online is fantastic and most people who say it sucks are just jealous fanboys that cant play it. Although there are some people thatgenuinelydon't like it, which is fine. The vehicles are the best you'll find in any FPS, they're a lot of fun to drive in as well as to shoot in. I'll let you figure the rest of the stuff out when you buy this awesome game. Oh and the developers have great support for the game and the community. Seriously, it's a lot of fun being part of the Halo community. Jump in.

To be honest i did not enjoy the game very well, the only thing i like on online was ranks and character colors :D if i was you save you money for GoW 2

Halo 3 is decent, but I got extremely bored of it, and probably won't play it for a long time. But it kept me occupied for months.

1. Only on turrets and vehicles

2. Yes you can, Halo has done a good job of this feature imo

3. It is pretty fun, but takes no strategy-I'm a fan of tactical shooters myself

4. Vehicles are some of the funnest things to use in the game.

5. There is but it sucks, you can change your guys color and shape of armor, that's really about it. You can also make a personal symbol.

When I first got my Xbox 360 I went online in Halo and I thought it was great. It was a total new experience for me and I really enjoyed it. I like it alot but it can be very frustrating and the little kids yelling down the mic is very annoying.

Like any game it's got features that could be improved but it's decent.

Halo 3 is the simpleman's shoot 'em up and doesn't require any skill as such, that's why it's very popular. It's alright for a laugh, and a pick up and play experience, but don't expect anything rewarding or epic about it. At least not in my opinion. Most of the community are underage kids, shouting or singing down the mic or calling you all sort of profanities which truth be told, they don't even know what they're talking about.

Your best bet is to try it for yourself and take it from there. It's a cheap game now and you're going to get mixed reviews from people who like it and don't like it.If you can't find a cheap copy, borrow it off a friend or rent it for a weekend, believe me, you'll know within the first few hours whether this is your type of game or not.
