I have had 2 xboxs in the past and both of them broke in about a 6 month period. I know the 3 red lights problem has been a problem for most people....it seems.

But now i am thinking about getting another one for Gears 2 but i was wondering if the problem still is as bad, and which console is the best - the elite or the 60 GB original.

After speaking with a person at Gamestop, he told me that they haven't got any Arcade 360's returned to them for failure/RROD. I really feel like the problem has been put to a minimum if you buy the Arcade or 60GB model, not sure about the Elite but I know the new 60GB models are just as reliable as the Arcade ones, and that's a good thing. Dude lemme tell you, you really have no worries at all. And the update we just got..the NXE, is simply amazing. We can now install games on our hard drives which will take off a good amount of loading.
