i'm having trouble playing cave story with a keyboard. i know wired controllers can be used on a pc, but what about wireless? i can't see it working, but if there is a way i'd be really happy.

Chuman is incorrect, wireless work, you just have to buy a small wirless receiver that plugs into your USB. (I mean there's an offical one. I don't know how much it costs though, maybe $15?

if you buy the play and charge kit for your wireless controller then it will work on a PC. as the end that you connect to the 360 to charge it is a USB port.

I haven't tried but I don't think that works. I believe the play and charge cable is just for power, and doesn't actually connect the controller. I could be wrong.

you can use wireless 360 controllers on a pc, you just need a little 15-20 dollar adapter thing that recieves it. my friend has one and plays with it.

No you're right. It only charges the battery. This is what makes the wireless controller work on PC.
