is it just me or is anyone else pissed of about the marketplace

the xbox 360 probably is the best console out right now just one problem the marketplace is dedacated to America i live in the uk i think the xbox is gr8 theres just one thing i cant stand and is that America get movies and tv programs and the rest of the world get **** all what i dont understand is that i payed the same or even more for my 360 and xbox live gold and i dont get the chance to download movies and tv programs does anyone agree with me??? and dont get me rong i have nothing against american ppl a lot of ppl say that microsoft have to step up there game i'm starting to agree with them.

Yep fed up with it myself. We pay MORE than the US and get less. People claim it's copywrite things but i fail to buy that as an excuse, id on't want to see american tv shows i do not see why MS can't get into talks with British tv channels and get BRITISH tv shows up on the british Market place.

There is no excuse really, other than they just don't care.

Us Brits pay our money for the console, quite a bit aswell, and we don't get much in the way of Marketplace movie downloads etc,  so why should it be a one sided thing.

First, use punctuation.  Good grammar goes a long way.

 Second, it's kinda expected that the US would get features other countries don't considering that M$ is an American company.  Maybe you'll get it someday.

 I apologize for all those comments made before and that will be made after this post. And I'm sure Microsoft will eventually fix this up. At least it's better than what Sony gave you with their PS2.5

It can't be copywrite stuff. Since, we pay more for our live, so they could offer companies MORE for the shows. Most american shows are showed over here too. All other things are american only too. I.E competitions, tournements, freebies.

Unfortunatly it's not just MSoft. Some games are AMERICAN ONLY, such as anime ones ect. I've had to import a few games for my psp, and my old ps2, since they wern't available in europe.

Well i live in the U.S. and  i still agree its not really fair, and i dont know why you guys wouldn't get the same stuff as us.

But I do understand where your coming from (I live in U.S. btw) Microsoft really should allow all countries with Live support to download movies/TV.

It's not Microsoft's fault. Licensing is a more complicated issue than you seem to realize, particularly when you have to go multi-national with it.Generic_Dude

Thing is, no one is really asking for that. There asking for content on the market place. If they can get American tv shows only on American Live then why not get British tv shows only on the British live service?

The licensing isn't then such a hard thing as it is only one country. I know it's selfish only meantioning my own country but i was using it as an example. They could easily launch it in seperate countrys one at a time. Which i suppose they may be doing but i very much doubt it.
