Is it just me, or is there an abdundance of amazing games right now?

Is it just me or are there a ton of amazing games out right now? I feel like usually there are 1 or 2 really good games out at any given time, but right now it just feels like there are a lot of amazing games out that I want to buy: Gears of War 2, Call of Duty World at War, Fallout 3, Fable 2, Left 4 dead, and to a lesser extent Farcry 2. The first 3 for sure are just amazing, and I've heard Left 4 Dead is going to be a blockbuster too. Does anyone else feel like there is an abnormal amount of great games out right now?

Buying Banjo Tommorow if the store has it. Fall out 3 and COD5 this payday and Left 4 Dead when it comes out so yeas it's alot really good games comming out plus I still want to get GOW2 soon

It seems every year around fall loads of good games come out. 

Im trying to remember what was out last year but i dont remember [last fall]. i remember thinking, damn how the hell am i gonna afford all this
