GTA 4 is honestly the only game I'm looking forward to this year, I'm really tired of fps's and disappointments like Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect (too short and bad side quests). GTA 4 is looking like it will deliver big time though.g-rash

I mean, San Andreas was the best selling game on the PS2.

This is the most anticipated release EVER. GTA is one of the rare games that crosses the boundry into a cultural phenomenom rather than just a gaming one. I remember when GTA III hit, and people who never played a PS2 before were talking about it at work (I worked in a call center at that time, doing customer service for a wireless phone company). When a gmae has that kind of impact on non-gamers it is truly something special.daviwinn

Its the official release date. The day stores can start selling there copies.

I'm not looking forward to all the people who have complaints about it once it comes out. I'm excited about it too but I'm not counting down the minutes like a lot of people seem to be doing. I can't even imagine how many different complaints there are going to be with this game. "The multiplayer lags sooo much!", "The single player is sooo boring!" Yes this week is going to go VERY SLOW (but at the same time I won't mind b/c I'm on school vacation). GTA:IV is going to be one of the best and biggest games in history. Its going to be like reliving the feeling of the revolutionary release of III. Guys don't forget to tune in on IGN's GTA:IV week. They have one update tonight on city design and detail and a little someting each day this week. CANT WAIT A MINUTE MORE!!...

I just bought Oblivion, finally, yesterday. And I have GTA4 reserved. ha...

I've actually been dreaming about the game here and there some nights, ridiculous :)

I'm excited for the midnight release for sure. I do hope that I'm not getting a great game I'll end up feeling naturally disappointed by just because of the hype. That can happen. To not give the game so much credit before you play just makes it seem better.
