Is it me or the achievements for firefight hard

We played firefight last night for almost 75 minutes and didn't get 200,000 points on normal. With no breaks this gets tiring quick. Any suggestions on how to get those achievements in less time?

I can never get 3 other people to play with except once when i got the achievment on last exit in about 40 mins.

The 200,000 achievements took 45-55mins on normal with 2 people. Your doing something wrong if its taking 75mins and still don't have it.

+2, With 4 ppl in normal (i usually play that) i get the achievement in 45-50 min depending on the mission.

Its weird that you had to spent 75 min, by that time im close to 450k cuz of the multipliers, anyways keep trying you will get it ;)

Yeah, now that I think about it the other two on my team were not scoring very much. Out of 157,000 points I had 93,000 which means the other two combined had about 64,000.

Oh...that shouldn't be too hard then. I've played with 2 other people and I got 111,000 points by myself one time...unfortunately, I was still unable to get passed the 200,000 mark with my team somehow. lol

i just finished getting the achievement for alpha site couple of minutes ago. the trick is having constant communication, and not go into different directions and split up. stay in one area, camp, kill covenant, and if need be, go get some ammo.
