I wondered the same thing. But I think it will happen more after the first week than in the first day in particular, because lots of poeple will be playing the campaign. I doubt Microsoft expanded it's network capabilities JUST for H3.
I doubt it will crash, but I do expect some lag on the day. Maybe its one of the reasons Bungi limited the MP to 16 player. They may have forseen server issues and gated it from the get go.
Jeese, everyones acting like it's the second coming of jesus or something. The only reason i would be annoyed if Live is down, is the fact i won't be able to play CoD4 beta.

I don't really think so. I don't think they ever would have thought more than 16 would be a good thing. 8 vs 8 even on the biggest halo2 multiplayer maps was enough players.
Perhaps that's why they shut down Live for four hours whenever that was. Preparing for the big day. I'll be playing the campaign on my own anyway when I get it.

Well, a lot of people are going to be playing the game online when it comes out. When Halo2 came out there were some problems. Have fun with the CoD4 beta, if you can find anybody to play with.
