Is it possible to hook a 360 up to a laptop?

Was just curious and wanted to try it out. Its a brand new Dv7. I hear you need to buy a cable however.

If it has any type of video in,it would be possible...but it's quite rare for a laptop to have one.

don't think it'll work...all laptops are video out, i haven't seen any that has a video in

actually if it has a blue vga connectio for extra monitors etc , you can try using the vga connection but i suggest a pc monitor over a laptop ,

You may not be able to connect a 360 to a laptop, but you can make a 360 into a laptop.

Yes, My Sisters bought some cables for her Toshiba that allowed the screen to function as a TV screen. So its rare but It can be done.

The monitor inside the laptop is configured to accept the laptop harware, and not display anything else or it might get screwed. If you have a monitor you can try hooking up a cable to that by Composite or AV Jacks that merge into a Digital Input or VGA input device and plug that in.
