Is it still not too late to buy x360?

I guess I'm finally ready to buy 3rd console but I'm not sure if it's worth it..I mean x360 age is 6 years now, and who knows maybe in this year or next both sony and microsoft will announce new generations of their consoles (as nintendo already did) and I wonder if I'll get enough worth of my money if I buy it now

of course its still worth it , there are so many great games coming out for it and so many already out. even if they do release another console, it wont make it obsolete. i say go for it, you wont be disappointed

18 months is the very earliest the 720 will launch. And it's never wise to buy a console at launch. No reason not to get a 360 now.Floppy_Jim

1.360 means 360 degrees.It means the xbox 360 is an all round console.

2.The 720 makes no sense whatsoever.

3.They wouldn't of put the kinect out if they are planning to release a new console in the near future.

4.Again,720 aint gonna be the name dude.

Buy it now. There's still games being released for it so now would be a good time.

Microsoft has said two things in the past about releasing their next console:

1.) They said they wouldn't release one until after sony.

2.) They also said that they were going to treat the Kinect as if it were a new console, and squeeze a lot more time out of the 360.

well I do want some of x360 exclusives, plus I just love how xbox live looks..feel way more intergrated and natural rather than ps3 UI

yes it's too late to buy a 360. you'll have to wait till around 2015 or so

Decent upcoming 360 exclusives are almost non-existent, if it isn't worth it for the current exclusives it's not worth it now period momentum_god

something inside me just keep telling me that I should..I mean it looks so..convincing that it's hard not to buy :3

I only upgraded to slim last week. I took 6 months off 360 and went with PS3 but just when i thought i was out they pulled me back in. I think that's how it goes.

Anyway after a small break i have found there is loads still to discover on the 360

I'd say the 360 still has alot of life left in it, with alot of games coming out this year. Games that have come out include Dead Space 2 and Homefront. Games yet to come include Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3, Gears of War 3, LA Noire, and a possible Alan Wake sequel. If you're looking for a bunch of exclusives, you won't find them. But exclusives do not make a good system, so...

not even quite but if you want a nintendo console then youd want to wait , dont go for a wii 1 right now wait on that to see if the rumor is true at e3 ,

but for 360 or ps3 they are going 10 yrs ,

kenict was sopused to be ms half way for the 360

and them releasing a bigger disc would be not a good move if they intend to release a new xbox any way so just go for it , that new if any new console wont hit til 2012-the wii 2 at the earliest

and the next xbox ps wont probably be here til 2013-14 if not 15
