It was time for me to get a 360 on amazon for like 120, I am sorry but I just refuse to pay 399 or/above for a console that plays at the same graphics of a much less console that cost a whole lot less, it just aint happening.8)Santesyu

Bah, I'll buy an x360 this month, the 60GB holiday for 299$. Why? Because I'll be able to install my games for faster loading speed, because I'll be able to download demos, like the RE5 demo one day, and it's the best way to test a game before buying it (so it saves money too to... pay more?), because the new 60GB have a different chipset where the upper RAM is doubled so the under RAM is remove, letting a better air flow, reducing heat problems, because the new chip is 65nm and produce less heat, so less ROD problems, because it come with HD cables (60GB version), a 60GB HD, a headset, 2 games, etc. I mean, all that for 100$ more than the arcade... And if you buy used, you could get an old model that had problems with ROD.Â
I think it's a 100$ well invested for myself, lol. Sometimes it's better to pay 100$ more 1st instead of paying 1M$ after years... (exageration here).

For the topic: Yes, it's time. Well, next year the price will drop again by a lot, surely 199$ for the 60GB with 2 games, and surely a new model will pop around end 2k9 max, a slim version or something, and you'll want to kill yourself. But it's ALWAYS like that with videogame consoles, lol. So I'll buy mine this month, 60GB holiday with a free game (right now I saw gears of war 2, or 2 games I didn't want, I'll wait for something better, GoW2 isn't that bad also, but I'd prefer an RPG instead).Â
