Not true. Uses same stystem as premiums. The only system that might not get the RROD at this point are a select number of halo 3 xbox 360s who have the falcon system.
MS claimed before the Elites shipped they discovered the design flaw in the 360s and fixed the problems. Thats why you dont here about the Elites or newer models of 360s messing up. It is the same internal system as the Premiums but the flaw that causes the RRoD is supposedly fixed. But this is also coming from the people who denied there was a problem to begin with so..........
I got a launch Premium and an Elite and ive never had a issue with either.
obviously nobody knows that the elites have an extra heat sink added to help with cooling which help prevent the circle of death I have opened many of the 360's and have seen what changes were made, from drives to capacitors and cooling.

Glad to see someone else has been paying attention - it annoys me when people say the Elite is exactly the same as the Premium. People need to start researching this stuff before making false statements like that. :)
Original poster: These upgrades don't completely eliminate the chance of the RROD - but greatly reduce the chance of it happening.
