You mean the Internet Explorer ? Yeah I tried it on my 360 and MS "Gold-blocked" me, I'm assuming it will be the same on the X1.

yea it suck the way eveything behind a paywall you would think they copy sony and let apps be free and not behind a pay wall.

Only time you can use the internet without gold is when shopping on the XBL store for games.

Other than you cant even use your netflix account with a gold subscription. Microsoft puts everything behind the gold paywall.
