Is it way too late to?

buy oblivion? I think it came out 2 years ago and only 1 person on my friends list plays it but who cares its not multiplayer. To be truthful im getting bored of just shooting people over and over and over again. Its fun but i want a game with a story where there is a world in it self and you can join the fighters guild or thieves guild instead of doing the main story. Also what i really dont care about but still is a good factor oblivion has good achievement points. So i guess i answered my own question and i will get oblivion. What do you think about shooting games and rpgs?

Well, there are allot of things why people are looking forward to Mass Effect. To keep it brief:

• It's a science fiction shooter RPG
• It takes place in the universe on multiple planets
• You can explore over 100 planets
• Suppose to have a very engaging and fleshed out storyline
• It has advanced character and weapon customization
• It has memorable characters with each their own persona
• It has a new and improved dialogue system making you able to choose to give responses the way you want
• Many look at Mass Effect like it is an improved alterned KOTOR
• Suppose to be 20-40 hours main story depending on play and very replayable

oh really 100 planets thats awesome. I also like customization. Maybe i will buy that game.FPSunionOWNS

I would look at the videos for Mass Effect as well. The videos will blow you away. Amazing graphics, and gameplay. I am very excited for it without a doubt. :)

True, but if you buy oblivion now and love it then your bust till somewhere near the end of 2008 and you can get ME and AC cheap.

Is the combat equally as boring on all 100 planets? YAY!!!!

I would say buy it and here is why. You might not play it for a while after all the new released arive but you will play it. It's one of those games that you keep around and then one day you really want to play it and so you do. Then you play it for a long time, let it sit again, and repeat.

The same thing happened with Morrowind GOTY edition. I still have it on my shelf and I still play it like crazy at random times throughout the year. In fact, if you haven't played it already, buy Morrowind GOTY instead of Oblivion. Even though it's much older and it is riddled with glitches and long loading times, it's still a much better gaming experience then Oblivion will ever be in my opinion. I'm still waiting for it to be brought up with current gen graphics and fixed.....but I'll still be dreaming for a long long time.

Oblivion is great, not the best ever made but stil great. But what it didnt have is interesting combat, but Mass Effect does have interesting combat. Can't wait to play a fresh combination of third person shooting and roleplaying game elements.

Its never to late to buy a game with 100+ hours of gameplay lol. I used to have the regular edition of it and I sold it before all the DLC came out so I plan on buying the GOTY edition soon, it has all the DLC included.

I love RPG's and Shooters alike, but I cant stand J-RPG's. I just think theyre so predictable and its practically the same thing over and over again. I only play western RPG's, like KOTOR, Mass Effect, and Oblivion.
