Given how comparatively cheap it is (now!) to get an Xbox 360 slim, I'd say go for it. I did it recently and haven't looked back - the newer unit is smaller, sleeker, quieter, and makes a really cool noise when you turn it on! Do it - you won't regret it.
All that extra storage space for cool arcade games and DLC too... :D
I wouldn't see below:
It wont come out in 2013. If it would, we wouldve seen it at E3 earlier this year at the latest.I wouldn't see below:

- The next Xbox is rumored to be set for release in 2013
- Is there anything wrong with your current system? If so then buy a slim on BF.
- I bought the Gears system to replace my RE one and regretted it. (The power brick of the Gears system was louder than my RE system. I returned the Gears system and have been using my RE)
- Money saved can be used for games.

Yes, it isrumored to release.
Debatable... I bought a Slim 250GB just because my 120GB Elite died. Unfortunately it wasn't an RROD death (GPU fried). Because it wasn't fixable Microsoft fobbed me off.
As there is technically no difference, I'll put down the aesthetic pros and cons of the slim:
Pros:
- Smaller, glossy black and a refreshed image from the 7yr old brick we know.
- Makes a nice soft 'Ping' noise when you open the disk tray or power it on/off.
- Quiet(er) and no overheating issues.
- Built in N wireless adapter.
- 250GB storage.
- The black controller supplied has a chrome coloured 'X' connect button (I'm clutching at straws here).
Cons:
- Still has a clunky disk tray.
- It is still quite noisey. Not quite 'brick in a washing machine' like the vanilla console but it's still very audible.
- You need a Hard Drive transfer cable to shift your data and profile to the new console. MS charge £15 for it when you will only use it once! Unfortunately none of my friends had upgraded so I had to buy one!
Those are stupid comparisons but they are probably what you want to see.
You shouldn't upgrade if your Elite still works fine. '720' is apparently on course for Q4 2013 so start saving for that. You won't add any resale value to your console by 'upgrading' to the slim.
You have enough space there for alot of things so I would say keep what you got until it reaches the end of its life.should i sell my 360 with 120 hard drive and wi-fi for the 250 gig slim unit??

[QUOTE="ZamboniGamer"]It wont come out in 2013. If it would, we wouldve seen it at E3 earlier this year at the latest. Seeing as the 360 was announced officialy in May of 2005 then released only six months later in November 2005, that statement could very well be untrueI wouldn't see below:
