It was payday today and to my suprise it was more then i expected. I expected it to be about 100€ but it was 275€ (I know it isnt much.. but it is just a part-time job) I will receive my next paycheck at the end of this month and that will give me enough money to buy a 360.
My question is: Is it worth it to buy a 360 at the end of this month or beginning of the next. This is due that new black 360 is rumored to come out soon. And also is it true about the 360 scratching discs or is it b/s. A local tellevision channel had a small item about it. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlQYkaXv8RU ). But from others i hear that that was b/s.
What do you think: buy a 360 this month or wait and see IF the new one comes out. And what is your opinion about the disc scratching problem.
the 360 will scratch discs if you move the machine from vertical to horizontal or vice versa, but otherwise it's safe. as for a new 360 coming out, it could happen, but who knows when. you could end up sitting around and waiting until next christmas.
i herd the blk ones not cumin out till may. ive had/ heard of scratched discs. U shud get a 360 now. lots of gr8 games. :Dfenwickhotmail
how did you get your discs scratched? did you move it? And i know it gots great games. But i can also buy those great games and future great games in may. IF that black one is coming out. What exactly does the black one do better?
It's just black, and apparently has a HDMI build in. Although MS squashed the rumour a while back by saying it was a tested console and said it had NO PLANS to release it in the future. If it was being released in may, you'd think people would realise MS would have had a press release saying it. It's not going to just all of a sudden one day turn up in the stores :lol:. And the 360 will only scratch disks IF you move the console while theres a disk running in it, or you're mid game. E.G. playing horizontal, move to vertical.
Discs only get scratched if the game is being played and you decide to(for some reason, i guess people like doing this) start throwing it around and moving it constantly. The games are great, and for the price, you get what you pay for. The black one...I heard the rumor got debunked but I kinda stopped paying attention to it. I remember it was...well...black...120 GB HDD, and HDMI input. But I can't see the same console going for the same price, with 100 more gigs. It can't be true.
my advise is to get a 360 now, i've never had a scratched disk. As for a black one coming out, you'll probably be waiting aslong as people have been for the ps3 so it's better to get one now, hdmi won't make much difference anyway.
