save for both as they are two of the best games for the 360 if only one for now i would say mass effect i have played it thru 3 times and have loved it each time i even bought the sound track
They are equals. Neither is better than the other, they are both great in their own respective genre's. Mass Effect is an RPG/3rd person shooter, whereas CoD4 is a FPS, so it's kinda illogical to try and compare them straight up. I'd say save your money and pick up both.
I've played both and true....these games are both amazing. However, Call of Duty 4 is a blast in both SP and MP. As such you'll play this game for a long time if you plan to play it online. Mass effect has a good replay value though, as it has different classes and different choices to make along the way. I would say both, start of with COD4 and buy Mass effect later on.
I didn't enjoy Mass Effect... Call of Duty 4 is a fantastic game though. I love RPGs, I played the elderscrolls games for hundreds of hours, and KOTOR was great but Mass Effect didn't impress me at all.
I have hardly played Mass Effect since getting it on release but from what i did play it was pretty good didnt stand out though while COD4 i just couldnt stop playing i am having a break from it now though i hope to play more of Mass Effect over the weekend hopefully i can get into it.
So i would say COD4 purely because i have played it a lot more than Mass Effect
Both games are amazing and you won't regret buying either. Mass Effect is the best RPG on the 360, with the arguable exception of Oblivion. COD4 is one of the best shooters and probably has the best online multiplayer than any other game. It really jus depends which appeals to you more- long and immersive single player or short sp and really good multiplayer. Like I said, you can't go wrong with either.
i bought the both of them and i am very pleased with both, but to have to choose one would be tough. Do you have a lot of buddies that play online with call of duty? if you do it would be a great pick because it has a great multiplayer. If you dont have a lot of buddies and dont really play online but want a great single player mass effect would be it!
