it seems unlikely, but alot of strange things have been happening involving ea and microsoft. Did you notice how much time was spent showing ea games at microsofts e3? Theres other things happening to, lets discuss if it could happen and what it would mean.

I doubt it would ever happen. EA is a huge company and would cost a lot to buy. But IF it were to happen. Microsoft would basically win the console war. Can you imagine if every guy who wanted to play Madden had to buy an Xbox?

First of all MS just can't buy everything they want.... Something actually has to be for sale in order to be bought and I don't ever see EA being for sale seeing how they make tons of money each year. Secondly MS is already losing tons of money on their games and entertainment devision so do you really think they would spend the insane amount of cash required to buy EA if they were for sale?

That would be ownage for Sony.

RandomTask221

lol would it ever if Microsoft bought EA, it would be safe to say that it would almost secure them the top spot in the console wars, think no sports games on PS3 or Wii, it would not bother me, but I can think of a handfull fo my friends that would be pissed if these games were only for 360

It seems that they aren't buying EA, they're just loosing Peter Moore to them. Who knows, maybe as President of EA he'll broker a deal with MS and they will indeed be for sale.

will NEVER happen. Sorry, EA is just too large of a company and aren't in any posistion to have to even consider this option.

Peter Moore is soon to be the President of EA Sports after he retires from microsoft at the end of the month, and Don Mattrick is taking his place who was formerlyPresident of EA worldwide studios... So maybe Peter Moore was showing more EA games at E3 since that's where he was soon going to work, or maybe not, I don't know.
