Is Microsoft giving out MSP?

Just went to go download a demo and I've been seting on 1600 points for months now but when I got to the download area of the demo it said I had 2000 points. Anyone else get free points?

If you are signed up for the rewards program that will manually add points to your account periodically; however, there are certain things you have to do to acquire said points.
