Is Morrowind backwards compatible?

Back when this game came out for the original Xbox, I had it but I was too young to really understand the complexity and freedom it provided (If that makes sense), now that Im older I'd love to go back and play it but I need to know if it can be played on the 360 or not, because I dont want to waste money if it wont lol.

Some minor graphical glitches occur over the pictures of items in inventory (rarely) and over the pictures for save games (often). Load game option from main menu experiences heavy lag. The game will crash if the skill trainers are used too rapidly (i.e. Leveling up using a trainer and immediately using the same trainer again).

I tried playing it recently as well (on PC), and it really hasn't aged well, the combat is about as fun as filing papers. Just stick to Skyrim.
