So lately when I watch DVDs my 360 starts messing up and saying that "attempting to read media" and skips all over the place. Is this a warning sign? Is there anything I can do to make sure it stays healthy? Thanks in advance!
Just make sure the systems not against the wall. It could be that the system is overheating. That might cause permanent damage to your system. Oh, and watch out for red lights. That means the system IS dead. Mine did that:(.
ZOMG BE CAREFUL!!! The same exact thing happened to me the other day and my 360 exploded in a massive ball of flamE!! Plastic pieces of shrapnel slashed though my face and I had to get one of my eyes removed...Don't LEt It ExplodE!!!

Sounds like your 360 is on it's last legs, if I was you I would call microsoft and get a new one. I had to send in my launch 360 recently cause I got the red rings but before that it was giving me similar problems.

sounds like ur x360 is starting to fail, better get a new one, though if the games play alright and there hasnt been in red lights then stick with it for a while
ive had mine for 1 year and a couple of months now, never had 1 problem, except for a couple of days ago when i turned in on and the 3RL appeard, but then i just turned it off, gave it some slaps, annndd problem fixed =D lol.... i can still play a game for like 8 hours and nothign happen =/
