no. '07 and '06 are both better. The rosters are more updated and its much more deep in franchise mode, but the gameplay isnt quite as good, and the new controls are WAAAY to overly complicated. U'll probably end up switching all the options back to the '07 version anyways like i did
I've been a 2K fan for years, but this year I went with NHL 08 and to me it's the best hockey game I've ever played, even beats Blades of Steel._CV_
Totally! Don't listen to the guy that said 07 and 06 were better... that's pure junk. NHL 08 has been hailed as the best NHL game since 93/94 which I must say are STILL amazing games. NHL 08 is sick. It's the best stick control and player control there is in a hockey game. You won't be disappointed.
i've heard great, GREAT things about; i have only been putting off buying it because i don't feel like shelling out $50; if i can get it for $30, it's probably a deal i'll take
