you see that means it's not for you it goes for story, it's not sword fight after sword fight after sword fight, because its an RPG not a MEDIEVIL ACTION game
I feel like getting oblivion but i want to know what u could do in the gameThEmAk_XDit's an amazing game. you can do whatever you want to in it. seriously.
to me it was an ok game. but there was just TOO much stuff in it. I like a game with a lot of things to do. but it was like it never ended.. got kinda confusing. but pretty cool game.

Only 20 hours? Damn... I've racked up 150+ on this game. It's just amazing.
since I have never played a prior Elder Scrolls game, could someone care to elaborate on how this one was made with the casual gamer in mind?AireeeZthey just adjusted the game so it suits people to play on a console. its a great game u shud definetally check it out
It`s a really loooooooooong slow game, with dated graphics. Go for quality over quantity and step up to to Mass Effect. It has a much better story and graphics engine, not to mention being much faster paced. P.S. Mass Effect is the "best game on the 360" and IMO the best RPG since FF7.HilbillyRokstar
each to his own i guess
Yeah Oblivion is good. It's the first Elder Scrolls game made for the casual gamer.Trickshot771
You mean second after Morrowind.
Speaking of which, to the OP. If you played and like ES3: Morrowind, then dont touch this game. You will be horribly bored since Oblivion is a watered down clone of Morrowind. If in fact you havnt played Morrowind, then yes you will probably really enjoy this game.

Morrow Wind was a great game the only prob was you had to travel to every place which took a lot of time.[QUOTE="Trickshot771"]Yeah Oblivion is good. It's the first Elder Scrolls game made for the casual gamer.EvilAshTwin

How is it a watered down close? Obviously it's gonna follow the same general system, but their is nothing watered down about it.

This is what I posted in response to a Mass EFfect game.
"It's an rpg with some of the worst shooting mechanics I've ever seen. The guns do not look or feel futuristic, they feel innacurate and weak, mainly due to the fact that while the braindead enemy is charging you with no inclanation to use the randomly poorly placed cover on the games levels, you're unloading your gun almost to the point of overheating, and they are still coming at you.
Normally that wouldn't be an issue because your teamates would help, but alas, the A.I on both sides is dumb as a rock. Your allies won't last two seconds. And did I mention the HORRIBLY designed levels? Which clearly lacked any work as far as cover placement? Guns don't have headshots, enemies don't even reach to shots, a shot to the chest hurts them, but they don't reach to it.
But that's just the horrible combat, I'm gonna take it further. The graphics. The only thing this game has going for it graphically are the Characters FACIAL animations. Aside from that, the world is amazingly empty and bland. The Citadel, kind of the central hub of every species in the game, is surpringly empty. Supposedly it holds what, millions? Billions on that space ship alone? Yet for some reason all you ever get to see are a couple npc's who can't be interacted with. Very few of the people in the game can actually be spoken to.
And yes, the game is filled with different planets. However only about 1/5 of them can be landed on, and every, single, one of them that can be landed on, is the exact same empty, barren wasteland with absolutely nothing of interest aside from little X's on the map that provide useless resources required to complete the fetch quest to end all fetch quest. I mean, all the games side quest are go fetch, but this one is fetch on a galactic level.
Man, such an overrated game."
