Is playing Metal Gear 4 worth buying a PS3....?

I've been hookedon the original xbox & now the 360 since the launch of the first system, but i always and maybeforever will love the metal gear series, fromthe first MG nintento to MG on theps2,But is buying aPS3 to play MG4 worthit ????? I have a friendthat owns a PS3 & he only uses it as a good blue ray player. Do u guys think I'll be happy in the long run buying one ?dashawnthl

A) Why are you posting Playstation 3 questions in a XBox 360 forum?

B)Most people who have an XBox 360 know that buying a Playstation 3 is one of the worst economical decisions in the history of the world.

C)Why would you even consider buying a PS3 when it the 360 has provenbetter graphics, more games, better games, a three year warranty, and is cheaper.

So it has been confirmed that RE: 5 will come out for the 360?

500$ for 1 game does not seem worth it to me, plus, if it doesn't sell 1 million on day one of launch the publishers said it may go multiplat so it will probably come to the 360 just wait.

RE 5 is coming on the 360 ya know. Also MGS 4 will not stay exclusive. Look at what happened to DMC and Ace Combat. Those were all playstation exclusives. Hideo Kojima is going to want money and he wont make a profit if he keeps MGS 4on the PS3. =PNocturnal15

sorry but MGS4 is exclusive...lol to all the people saying otherwise, DMC went multi plat because its capcom... just look at RE4 for example, it was supposed to be a gamecube exclusive, then it got its way to the ps2, MGS$ has too much on it that the 360 just could not handle, and it has MGO packed in it...kojima is not going to dumb it down just so it can be on a 4 disc set.

1) You forgot M$ is made of money. they could buy out the rights to MGS if it was possible LOL

2) You must really believe all those blown out proportions about the PS3. 4 disc set, HAHAH right.

3) Keep thinking MGS will stay exclusive. Since soo much was put into the game im sure huge amount was spent on it and probably still is being spent. Hes going to want to make that money back and then some. And looking at the sales of PS3, that may not happen.

4) Capcom is smart. They know RE has a huge fanbase so they could make a huge profit off of making the game multi plat.

5) OH NOESS!! i cant believei forgot this...Buying the 40 gig PS3 is saying "let me purchase the half @$$ed version!" There are fewer features on the 40 gig than the 80 gig. Nice one Sony.

Well according to the 1M day one copies to recoup costs story, I think its a possibility even a small one, we'll see it on the 360.

I mean, Halo 3, with its 300M dollar ad campaign and being in the minds of everyone was able to sell 2.4 on day one.

MGS series is really good but its not mainstream. If i think of playstation i don't think of MGS. Whereas if i think of xbox i think of halo immediately even before halo 3. it would have to be a very elaborate ad campagin to hit that 1M target.

No system is worth just 1 game only. Yet, I think when MGS4 is out, PS3 will have a lot of better titles out as well.
