I have heard great things about R6V and am looking for a new game and was thinking of picking it up.  The main thing that is stopping me is that it seems similar to GRAW in that is appears to be a tactical/team based game where you constantly have to order others around as well and not just yourself.

Is this a pretty safe assumption?  I have never played any of the R6 games before and didn't really care for GRAW becuase of the type of game it was.  I just don't want to get the game and find out that it is similar and run the risk of not liking the game.

Thanks.

R6V is in first person, and yes it is a tactical shooter similar to GRAW. But they are two totally different games. R6V does not have that war feeling that GRAW has, but has a more close combat feel to it. R6V command system is sort of like GRAW's, but its not as punishing if you make mistakes. your team mates in R6V can handle themselves well enough where you dont always need to worry about them. You will still need give them commands, like breaching certain areas or doors, climb down ropes & ladders. If you dont like the idea of giving squad commands and actually thinking about what you have to do to survive, then maybe you should stick with mindless gun tootin' shooters.

Yeah, R6V is much more close quarters combat, and it was harder IMO.

vegas has a better and more reliable cover system and is alot more comfortable and fluid to play with, as if all GRAW's problems have been ironed out. vegas is the best game ive played on the 360!

Would it be pretty safe to say that if I didn't care for GRAW?  I guess to take it a step further if I tend to prefer more run & gun type gameplay will I most likely not like this game because of nto liking tactical shooters much?
