I bought this game when it was first released and I had a lot of fun with it, but ended up trading it for whatever was new at the time. Since I found it for $29, I was thinking about rebuying it. I was just wondering if a lot of people still play this game online or if any?
Absolutely! It has so many play mechanics that are rarely seen in any other games in the genre. Teleporting through walls to safety when you're getting hammered with bullets is a cool feature. So are most of the other skill sets you get like the smartlink, the glider, plus smoke, gust and choke. Very innovative game to say the least. Too bad FASA got broken down and folded into different divisions of Microsoft Game Studios. :(
Yes people still play this game, i got bored with Halo3 (which happens often) and me and acouple of friends decided to play shadowrun...an we were surprised. People still play tho alot more computer poeple play now too.
Yea man, shadow does what it can to fill the spaces halo makes but the only thing really holdin it back is the lack of custimization. Can I get a yeah-YEAH.
The game was dead to me when the elf ninjas took the game over. I sold it for Assassin's Creed and I'll never regret it.karriston
no doubt thats what 75% of the players dude....but there were ways around getting away/killing them. But i understand what you're speaking of....but it didn't turn me off the map.
I just played the game so much and as soon as they announced no new content i got rid of it.

I liked Shadowrun too. I just hated it when the whole other team played as elf ninjas, forcing you topick a role that'd beat them, instead of playing how you wanted. Poor dwarves never stood a chance :( A deathmatch mode would've been nice too. The game didnt feel finsihed. *Edited for spelling errors...damn you laptop keyboards = /

hmm thats too bad.I hope we get another game out of who ever has the rights to the Shadowrun name.I play the actual pen and paper RPG on occasion so I would really like to see them make a 4 player co-op thru some kind of story scenario.

Yeah, it kinda sucks that there won't be any new maps or weapons, but I'll manage. I haven't played it for at least 3-4 months, so I don't even really remember too much about the game as it is. I'm sure I'll get tired of it the same way I get tired of Halo 3 and COD4 sometimes. It'll give me something else to break it up.

you'll have no worries...the game really stands out and the depth keeps replayability at a high. It's a great game that deserves a lot of credit and if I ever saw it for $10 in a bargin bin i'd pick it up again...i only traded it because I got $40 credit at the time. It a game definitely not for the casual....its a hardcore crowd thats surrounded by a great community...enjoy it because its a gem.
I thought the game was fun but i think they needed to make a Single Player story and fix the retarded art style other then that its was fun plus Ive seen one friend playing it nearly every day for the past 3 or 4 weeks.
